New OEM TPS, needs adjustment?
Hello,
I changed today my TPS, spend some extra bucks and went for the original one accordingly to what I saw about OEM being the only one that is gonna work as it should with no problems at all. I replace it and then reset the ECU with positive touching negative for 1 min then key on but not start, turn off head lights, turn off headlights and then key off.
It is doing job comparing it to the old one that was trash but still not good enough, rpm at idle is high 1k now after a couple of rides during the day and is not going back (I have read that good rpm idle is around 600-700? for a manual transmission like mine at least) so should I wait till gets settle or use to what ECU info recollects after the restart? Or should I go for a full reset or maybe adjustment with the mechanic?
Much appreciated every comment you can do to help here.

I mean you can technically adjust the tps with the throttle set screw….
If vacuum leaks have been crossed off the list, I would try closing the throttle a bit and see what it does. Free and easy
