hello everyone! my name's troy. new member and new first time xj owner! been wanting and looking for the right cherokee for a looong time now. never owned a jeep before, but always wanted to get into off roading, just had to get my motorcycle addiction in control first ( i own 5 bikes now, lol). last truck i had was a lifted sierra about 8 years ago, so i am admittedly a noob and pretty uninformed when it comes to most things jeep at this point, but i'm no stranger to modding vehicles, which i love doing, so this jeep will be a neverending build project i'm sure, lol. i look forward to spending a lot of time here and learning and sharing as much as possible. thanks for a great site!
here's some pics of my baby, 1991xj, fabtech suspension (any good?), not sure of the exact lift height, but i'm guessing 3.5 inches. 31x10.5's for meats. paid 3300 cash for it, do you guys think that's a decent deal? its got 112k miles which i think is pretty low for a 91. lmk what you guys think, feel free to make suggestions if you see anything that can be improved upon. its a daily driver with plans to hit the mud every time it rains. thanks for looking!

its not bad, pretty bouncy but i assume that's to be expected. it feels very solid, shocks seem to be in good shape. the reviews i read of their stuff were all pretty good, but again, i'm a noob so i won't assume one source is the final word on a product. anyone with some experience with fabtech please let me know how you feel about their stuff. for the terrain available to me and my novice skill level at this point, i'm guessing it should be fine for now.

thanks! and thanks to everyone else as well. i'm pretty happy with it so far, although i know its going to be a work in progress indefinitely, lol.
i would love to do trails as well, but unfortunately i'm stuck in nebraska right now. if you've ever been here, you'll understand they don't call it the great plains for nothing, lol. no challenging terrain within 400 miles. not even a decent rockpile the only legal off roading to be done in my area is on minimum maintenence dirt roads over in iowa its sad, but there are no off road parks anywhere near here, and 90 percent of all the rural land is farmland i plan on taking a week each year to go ride some real terrain though in the meantime, all i gots is mud. i do plan on moving back to colorado in a few years, so i'll bide my time until then
