Here's an intake that sort of combines cold air plus protects it from direct water and can be built for under 75 bucks depending on where you get your supplies. I plan on doing this to mine once I get all my important issues worked out. I guess the only downside is the noise but thats what the radio's for right

wow thats a really cool idea.. but not one for me.. im not to concerned about the noise in the cab but i bet it can be overbearing at sometimes
