Default dd PROBLEM, please HELP

I can drive the jeep on back roads fine, but once i hit about 30 to 40 while acceleration, my jeep shifts in to a passing gear or overdrive by itself. The pedal actually moves towards the floor by itself. I lubed the throttle body thinking it was sticking but nothing. I cannot repeat this in park. The only way to stop it is to slow down to about 15. If i only tap the breaks it will again move by itself and increase speed and it never stops. I have an automatic 1990 jeep cherokee 4 door, 4.5" lift on 33. Please i need help as i cannot drive it on the road.

Check your TPS, did it start all of a sudden? wait...the pedal moves by itself? make sure your cruise control isn't on first. The brake light switches aren't the problem(it also turns off the cruise) the connecters are. I cut my connectors off and replaced them with blade connecters with some conductive anti-corrosion stuff. I would definately suspect the cruise control.

remove the cruise control cable linkage from the throttle body and see if that fixes it.

Limited is one of the higher tag, trim levels if I'm not mistaken, so you probably do have cruise.

X2 remove the cruise linkage, see what happens
