I decided to swap headunits as the stereo that was in the jeep when i got it had a broken CD player and the radio would come on and off randomly. I thought it was because the original antennae is missing from the jeep. the radio wouldnt turn off, but it would take forever to find the channel and it would stop playing sometimes... thats all on the original stereo, but with my new headunit the music skips, USB, AUX and radio. Its a cheap crappy Dual XR4110 i got for $30. could it be a defective radio or is it something else like bad grounds? where are the grounds to the radio/dash/instrument cluster?
