Default &*^%$ shock bolt sheered off

Evening y'all.

Anyone out there ever dealt with one of the rear top shock bolts sheering off?

I have it drilled (close to center) and can just see the threads on the old bolt. any idea on how to get that last little bit out of there?

This has grown madning for a simple shock replacement.

thanks for any and all help

Easiest is air hammer it in and drop a new bolt down... We used a telescoping magnet, some use string.
Some people cut a hole in the floor.

Thank you

I wish I had access to an air hammer. I really don't want to chop into the floor back there.

That is a great idea in the first link. I am going to try that fix in the AM.

Thank you.

Well I couldn't get the wire wrapped bolt to go in, so I drilled a hole into the floorboard nd ran a bolt through there. fixed.

thanks for the help and info.
