Its always good to be back on home base!!!

So to get to the idle air control i had to pll to throttle body, pita for a switch but not too bad.

Man it was dirty in there, i cleaned and replaced but still the same outcome, so off to the parts store to get one this weekend

Cragar 342's -ordered
AA SYE and Tom Woods drive shaft- ordered
4.10 superior gears- ordered
all for a grand total of....holy ...4200$. my girlfriend is going to kill me
Hanson front and rear bumpers, and probly detroit lockers on stand by when my pockets recover from this hit!!!! oh cant for get the winch and 5th tire carrier on rear bumper.

Will start up a build thread soon
At least its not your wife.... you would have to spend alot more after a hit like that to the pocket book

Nice looking rig for 700 bucks!!! Cant wait to see the build thread

Personally I would have done 4.56 or 4.88 gears since you ordered new ones anyway, this also gives you the option to always go to 35's

Welcome Home
Welcome home, sounds like a jeep is a well deserved welcome home present. I got my 98 when I came back after my 3rd tour for $42 and the price of a water pump. I'll probably sink some money in mine after my next deployment. So how was that first shower when you got back stateside

Quote: no cheap out for me this time..i learned that the hard way with my mazda truck..basically all junkyard and self fab work..spent mor time working on it than weeling with it... im extremely happy to have mostly bolt on stuff.. and i have a nice chunk to drop on her... just got back from a deployment with the us military..a little present to myself! will post some picks of her when i get a chance...she is bone stock...perfect for my project

Thanks to all the vets who have served before us to allow me to let freedom ring!!!!

Quote: Anything over 6" on stock width axles starts to get tipsy.

if I was going long arms over 5.5" id go with the claytins 8" rather than the RE 5.5". its only about $250 more than the RE.
