new d30 what shoud i do before install

Default new d30 what shoud i do before install
got a new to me d30 its from a 94sh limited but i think it has abs because i hase a cable with 2 wires that goes in to some sort of sensor on the hubs

i was wondering what i should do to it before i get it on my jeep i know i have to fix the two bolts that are sheered off in the diff cover and im trying to figure out how to keep it from rusting any advice would be awesome

Check the ball joints u joints make sure everything is good and not worn out and paint itll look better
