Yellow's a pretty drastic change. Better look at lots of pics and be sure first. Taking into account the jambs and everything, a simple respray is a whole lot easier and cheaper.

If you're planning on painting JUST the outside, stick with your original color, imho. It looks silly to open the doors/engine/etc and see a different color on the inside than the outside.
If you're going to repaint EVERYTHING... yellow is pretty cool.

yeah, if you do it right, yellow would be awesome. I've wanted to do that to my old beater for a long time, but never had the money (nor the painting experience to do it myself).

I painted my black '92 yellow last month. Turned out great. I am in the process of finishing the door sills and such with yellow.
Before...
After... I rolled the paint on. Valspar Industrial OSHA "Safety Yellow". Nasty stuff. Very hard to remove from skin. About 10 bux a quart, 10 bux for rollers and 25 bux for sandpaper.

I used Valspar Industrial enamel. Same as Rustoleum but smoother I think. Cheap too. I wouldn't suggest painting the Jeep this way though. It takes ALOT of time and prep to get it right. Next vehicle I do I will probably spray with conventional auto paint.
It did take a good 18 coats to cover the sanded down black though. Some edges are still a bit "thin" and I will be touching up once it warms up outside. This paint takes a while to completely dry.
