New cat to help gas milage?
Let me reword my last thread that got locked...my cat clogged up on me a few months ago, and having school the next day and no money, i was in a pinch and just had to straight pipe it...however this increased my fuel economy...will putting a new, aftermarket cat on increase my mpg's?

As said in your last thread...if it was clogged..now it has more flow therefore will give you better gas milage. Putting a new cat on there after removing the clogged one would have also increased your mpg also.

Yes it will help.
Under the rules of your last thread closure, speeding, underage drinking, selling a used cat to another member, etc etc should all be against the rules.

i would replace your 02 sensors as well mabye just thro sum 15ohm resistors in there but putting a new cat on there will deffintly help with your air fuel ratio as well cuz of the 02 sensors

had the same problem, replaced mine with a stainless steel magnaflow. sounds so much better and the mpgs are alittle better, nothing too crazy though.
