Ordered a Four Season A/c component kit from RockAuto and the compressor was extremely noisy so I had it sent back and replaced. The replacement came I finally got around to redoing the job but come to find the pulley on the new compressor wobbles. It is solidly mounted but has lots of run out. Unfortunately I waited too long and RockAuto won’t do a return or exchange, can I take the old pulley and put it on the new compressor?

The clutch / pulley assembly should be replacable. make sure the problem is not a bent shaft rather defective pulley / clutch.

If it were to be a bent shaft would the clutch assembly rotate normal? It’s appears mine does just the pulley is off.
