New batteries in the FOB... still doens't work, help???

Engine: straight 6 (4.0L)
Default New batteries in the FOB... still doens't work, help???

Just replaced the batteries in my keyless entry, but it still doesn't work, any suggestions???

you might have to get it reporgrammed, happened to me before, took the batteries out put new ones in and it deprogrammed it self. i might be wrong but just a suggestion.

Same thing happened when I replaced the batteries in the '01. Radio Shack told me they couldn't reprogram it, and the local stealership wanted $70, so I just stopped using my remote.
