need sum advise

Default need sum advise

so i accidently dropped a butter knife thru the whole where the distributor goes to the bottom of my oil pan been trying to get the oil pan off but is really hard to get off so im wondering how much harm it can be to have a butterknife at the bottom of my oil pan haha???

Lol what where you doing under the hood with a butter knife I wonder? In any case I would want it out, never know what it may do.

I have a few ideas of what it will do and a few hours or even a day to pull the pan is worth not having to clean up that mess

was using it as a screwdriver didnt end so well. So next question how do i remove the bellhousing inspection plate my book tells me to remove it. and is there any good step by step intructuions really dont want to make any more mistakes.

Drop the pan unless you feel like dropping in a new engine

First rule of doing any type of mechanical work on any vehicle, if you don't have tools to do the job, you don't do the job. You don't even have a screw driver?
