need suggestions for moving the rear axle vent higher

Default need suggestions for moving the rear axle vent higher

1999 xj 4.0 auto 4x4

I'm looking for ideas about where to relocate my rear axle vent tube to, I bought 4ft of fuel line tube and a in line filter but I'm not sure where to run the hose any one out there with expertise in this area give me some ideas, please

I ran mine behind the gas tank bolts, through the filler tube protective panel, and out the gas fill flap





That puts it about level with the front cowl

I put mine in the gas fill area also. If you keep moving through water that area should not fill with water. If you get stuck in deep water you should be checking fluids anyway.

How did you figure where to drill the hole? I routed my intake into the cowl area as a snorkel up there so that would work perfect with this being same height

Mine panel with gas cap is a flat piece of metal, it looks like I would have to drill a hole to run the tube through

Mine is also right beside the gas cap. Zip tied to the neck.

As soon as I get time I'm going to run them all up to the front diffs end location or all into the air box. Haven't decided yet.
