Default Need some help guys. Mechanical fan delete?

Hey guys, I just got one quick question. My girlfriend has a 2004 Grand Cherokee with the 6 cylinder 4.o and it doesn't have a fan clutch/ fan blade attached to the water pump. Is this normal? It has an electric puller fan that I assume is for the ac, but no main fan. We had a problem with it overheating last year that turned out to be the relay after I replaced the electric fan. (forgot what it was called, but I remember it was a pain to get to) This time she is having problems with the a/c. Hooked my gauges up to it this afternoon and found it had a low suction pressure and high head pressure. Put a little 134 in and the head pressure rose super high when I idled it up for a minute or so. Even at idle, it seems to have a low suction pressure and high head pressure. I have cleaned the condenser, so I don't think it's that. Just doesn't make sense that there is no fan clutch screwed on the threads of the water pump. Is it possible someone took it off or did that motor ever had a fan/ clutch on it?

The 4.0's didn't have a mech fan. The v8 did. You can get one off the v8 and put it on I think.
