Hey all...been appreciating all your work as a guest for sometime, I have definitely gotten some ideas for when I turn mine into a rock crawler/swamp buggy...but I need to to last as my daily driver a little longer!

Here is my issue, I have been having some gauge issues for awhile, nothing big, the gauges will wig out a little and go back to normal. Now, I am having the issue that the Tach/Speedo "work" (they are off a bit) and the fuel gauge shows 7/8ths full, but the Fuel Light is on, AND my odometer is showing "- - - - - -". The trip counters work, but the odometer is not registering any mileage. I see that folks have had the "No Bus" issue, but this looks a little different from that. Anyone have any ideas about what the issue might be and where I need to start to try to fix it?

All I have done is checked the fuses (all good) and taken the battery cables off and put them back on in hopes of "resetting" the gauges (no luck there).

Any and all assistance via your infinite wisdoms re: all things Jeep Cherokee will be greatly appreciated!

 

I would certainly do the same fixes as the NO BUS issue

 

I'd lift the gauge cluster and clean like a no bus problem. If that doesn't resolve your cluster may be dead.
