hehe, im defenatly not the sharpest tool in the knife shed. but since i have your attention. ins co totalled my 2000 xj , paid me 4800 and i get to keep the wrecked 00. the wrecked one is drivable and fixable. nothing major.pretty much the frnt left corner.as far as front bumper and left fender go. can i use 95 xj for those two parts ? i know everything else is not compatable.

Change both front fenders and grille and support and you might be okay. Look at them side by side.

Funny! I am rolling here.., actually though, radio interference IS a a great indicator of rapidly fluctuating fields. EMI output to Amplitude Modulated receivers seem to come in pretty good. I mean a radio can pick up a bad connection, sometimes.

Doors may need swapped, too.

Havent heard much on going from a newer body to an older one, but its fairly popular to use the newer panels on an older truck. I imagine its just the other way around, but I could be wrong.

My understanding is fenders forward swap over with little mods.

I know some people use the later doors also.

A side note here... I worked on my friend's 99 with DW over the weekend. I drove it on some long road tests to verify the repair worked. You can't drive at any speed with the windows down without being blasted with air. No wing window......

Default did it again

missed a days pay .no start this morning.so i started with the coil and the 2 conn.below it then the grnds. at the dip stick then started moving ,pulling and pushing wires around the relays the whole time trying to start it in between cleaning stuff.and then it would start and die so i kept then finally it stayed running. so i tried to pin point exactly what it was but couldnt get it to stall again. still got alot of cleaning but that is what got it going again. it is the most responsive now since ive had it. big improvement.

Check that the wires are tight on the fuel pump ballast resistor. White ceramic thingy on the driver's side inner fender.
