Default need some advice !

ive been wokring on my jeep and my last spot for my exhaust manifold the bolt or stud broke off into the block . any way now i have another problem when i got the bolt out it also broke off the part of were the of piece of block were the screw goes into broke off it just a little junk but now i cant screw the bolt back in ? im stump and dont wanna wreck it any more any ideas on hot to fix it would the quick aluminum fix it help or do i need jb welded ?
please anything would help right now

Default hmm!

well i just worked on myne this past wednesday,and dont really understand witch part broke,was it the ear where the bolt and washer catch on the intake manifold or where,studs are only 2 very front and very back,there are some gide pins on the bottom to aling the intake,where did it brake?

you mean you broke off the corner of the head aint really no quick fix for that if there are ant threads left run a tap to clean what threads are there tighten all othe bolts and just snug that one up dont try and kill it

yes excaclty in the back corner the vorner did break off i still have it but stuck on wat to do

do u have a welder???/ welder on and grind it flush. then drill and tap some new threads in and shaazzaamm just like new . ive done it on 2 jeeps.

what type of welder . and isn't the head aluminum ? its a 1990 straight 6

nope its steel, If you dont have the equipment a machine shop can fix it for you for pretty cheap

well that makes me feel alot better i pulled the head off so it should be easier to fix now that i have room to work with. i should of done that before i tried drilling and tapping
