Need quick help: Tapered or flat washer lugnuts?
I've got a set a of American Racing aluminum wheels I'm going to mount up today. I bought new lugnuts and got the type that use a flat washer. The wheels have a recess for the lug that looks like it will accept the washer but I noticed it also has a bevel cut to accept a tapered lugnut.
Which one do I use???

You were both right.
I learned from the tire/wheel store that tapered lug nuts replaced the RH and LH thread system. Most wheels use them including the ones I have.
They're mounted up...and rubbing like crazy. Time to put a couple pucks in the springs and start shopping for a lift.
