need more power! cheap solutions?
#1
Ok so I just want to add a little more power and better throttle response to my beloved xj and was wondering what to do cheaply. I have upgraded the cat with a high flow magnaflow and I got more power from that. Does a tb spacer help at all? What about a bored out tb to 60mm? There is a vendor that sells them on here. Then I was also thinking about injectors. Is there any injectors I can pick up from a certain vehicle at they jy to give me more power? I have the 4.0 I6 btw. Later down the road I am thinking about getting a strikers and upgraded header but that is outta my price range for now. Anyone have a good link to a strikers kit that won't break the bank? Anymore ideas on how to increase power shout em out! Thanks! Also I already have champion copper plugs and have got new cap, rotor, and wires

Why do you need more power. More power equals breaking more things. If you are looking for 10 extra hp, its doable, but anything higher then that and you will have to spend some bucks.
Use the jeep for what its ment for, if you want more power buy something else.

the bored TB helps, it feels more responsive.
If you have the stock airbox, there is a restrictor in the outlet snorkle, pull that out.
