Need lift kit recommendations...
I'm geting ready to order my lift - however, I'm getting all kinds of different opinions of lift kit brands! Was first thinking about the rough country 3", then considering the Rusty's 3"...have heard good & bad about both 
. The Jeep is my everyday driver/weekend toy so I don't really get into much crazy rigging other than a lil mud & some hill climbing. I like the rubicon express kit but it's a little out of my price range for now. Anyone have advice? recommendations? All help is appreciated! Thanks

lifting
I have heard good things about RC. I own a Rubicon Express lift kit and love it. I would recommend that but it comes down to what you want and what you can afford. I have a RE superflex 3.5 lift and plan on using them again with my next projects. Just my thoughts.

Engine: 4.0 rebuilt w/ bored TB, banks header, upgraded ignition, 3 row rad, high flow h2o pump, 180* t-stat

a cheap lift is just that, cheap.
rustys has horrible customer service and shipping is outrageous.
rough country is just that, rough, but for the price its still a decent lift.
Rubicon seems to be failing as of late. the quality of their products seems to be declining, as well as their customer service. Ive had my lift less than 2 months and had one of their shocks break last week, look in my build thread.
im still waiting on the rear shocks as well, but im really happy with the rubicon lift, it flexes well and rides nice.
my vote would be for rubicon, but im biased.

If I get the spring pack kit can I not add a shackle kit for a little bigger lift in the future?? I'm fairly new to all the jeep mods, i've been a mustang enthusiast for years!

I was going to say either RC or Rusty's... but that is because I have never had any issues with any of the Rusty's kits or parts that I have installed, or had the pleasure of riding on... I have a 4.5" kit personally and have had no issues purchasing some of the remainder of parts needed to complete the kit I purchased used... so thus far I have yet to have any issues with shipping or customer service from Rusty's... but I know every business has their good and bad days...

my buddy has rusty's since day one. i've held his parts in my hand (lol), they are twice the size as any other i've seen, including my RE. he's never had anything fail, and he wheels it like anyone else.
another friend has a 2 year old rough country 4 inch kit in her tj, she's gone through control arm bushings twice so far, her lower control arm bent and the bushing end ovaled out and was sloppy and very noisy, had it replaced, and now it's like that again. RC won't warranty it. she's gonna replace it with RE.
