need help on parts brands
Ok so I will be replacing the cps and rear o2 sensor. I just put in the o2s last year and I got them from rock auto (I forget which brand) but apparently they sent me the wrong one for the rear or something because it is throwing all kinds of codes and I have a rough idle and I can smell a strong smell of gas upon start up and when it is running rough. So which brand am I going to want? Then if that doesn't work, the next logical procession (since it will be the only thing I haven't replaced) is the cps. So any recommendations as to which kind I should get. Then finally, my dad bought me a new iac from autozone the other day
Is that a good one or no? It turned the check engine light off and the rough idle went away, but it still lurched forward. Then the other day the rough idle and check engine light reappeared! Autozone said that if it didn't work I could take it back. Should I get a different one or is it not the problem? I'll probably replace the rear o2 first then go from there to see how it acts. Thanks for the help!

For o2 I would go with denso, for the cps look for standard, non T-series, I work at an auto parts store and I haven't had any complaints about them

Chrysler Mopar parts are expensive and Good. The dealer parts counter isn't convenient if you have to miss time off work to pick up parts.
I've had excellent success with Napa IAC parts, price is less than mopar and they are open saturdays.
For O2 sensors, if i have a choice, Bosch works 1st for me.

NTK is a good brand, quite a few like the Bosch too. My personal preference is Bosch on the older motors, NTK on the newer- but it's sorta like choosing the right beer, lol. If one is cheaper than the other- done deal.

X2 on this for HO Jeeps. NTK was the OEM for the O2 sensors. Bosch made all the Renix ones. For other stuff I think BWD is a reasonable brand.
As for your original post have you tested your TPS? Sounds like it's shot.
