Default need help identifying what i broke

Hey all sorry for the novice questions but I am new to the xj world. Anyway I was cleaning out the throttle body on my 88 cherokee and broke the piece in the first picture. Then I noticed that another cable that should be hooked up to the linkage had broken at some point and it goes to the item in the third pic. I am pretty sure the red one of is the accelerator cable because it goes through the firewall but the replacements I find online do not look like it. If you guys could provide any help by looking at the pics below that would be great. Red goes to red and yellow goes to yellow in the pics

I have see a few different lengths, is there anyway to know what I need without removing it or is 26 vs 26.5 or 27 not a big deal?

The exact cable length is not the most critical part (unless your talking a lot, like say +- 2 ) most critical part is the amount it can travel from the fixed point on each end. The variance your seeing is most likely slight manufacturing variance. But of your really worried about it be right I say the only way to truly measure that slight difference would be to pull it or you could try just getting it form the dealer.

Hope this helps!
