I took this apart about 2 weeks ago and I can't remember how to hook it back up. Anybody?

 

I know it wraps around that circle with the groove but I'm not sure where it goes from there.

 

It's the cable that runs to this. If someone could tell me the name of the cable that would be great

 

It's your cruise control servo. There should be a plastic clip at the end of that cable that attaches to your throttle lever. It just slides onto a pin that sticks out from the lever.

 

Got a 90 sittin outside with that set-up...pm me with a number and I'll walk you through it....

 

Did they put this on all models? Just wondering because my jeep isn't equipped with cruise control. If that's the case then I guess I don't have to worry about hooking up that cable?

Your cruise control on that year is on the turn signal stalk. The printing may have worn off over the years so you can't see it.
And no they all didn't come with it. The servo wouldn't be there unless it was equipped from the factory or the PO tried to retrofit one from another vehicle.

 

wow do i feel dumb...wish i would have known that haha. The retainer clip must of broke when I took it apart. Ill have to check napa to see if they can get me a new one. Does anybody know where I could get one online?
