I just bought 91 Cherokee, when I bought it I had no dash lights. I later figured out my clearance lights and license plate light also do not work. All other lights were fine. I looked in the manual and found fuse for this circuit, 5A fuse but I forget location number. This fuse was not blown and I checked continuity with multimeter and it shows good. On a hunch I checked headlight fuse, #7 15A. This fuse was blown. I figured I'll change this fuse and be good. Instead the fuse blew right away and now headlights do not work either. Brake lights a turn signals are still good. I am anxious to take my jeep out but can't go without working lights.
