Have checked the manufactuers website?
Application is usually dots facing up (toward cylinder head)
bevel up = top ring
bevel down = bottom ring

Don't forget to set the gap 1" down the bore.

Like this, your rings may have a dot instead of a letter. Make sure to stagger the openings like shown.

For a perfect setup you need to mic the bore and then place the rings in their bore that they will go in and measure the gap. Have you confirmed that your cylinders are not oversize ?

Yes- Check for the markings to make sure that you don't install them upside down.

Have you measured the cylinders? Have you checked for out-of-roundness?

Have you/are you going to re-hone the cylinders?

I guess what I'm trying to get at is the cylinders may be larger now.

My best advice, measure each cylinder and check to see if you have the right sized rings.
