Need help
I have a stick 92 xj . has the 4.0. I turn the key and everything works except the starter. I changed the starter and it has a new battery. Checked fuses and relay everything looks good. Is there something I'm missing? Any information would be helpful. Thank in advance.

Haven't got it running yet. Starter works when you jump it with a screwdriver. Relays are good and fuses are good. Not sure what's going on with it.

Thank you everyone for your help. I got it running again. I had to track down a bad ground wire that was shorting out. Replaced it and it's running great again. Thanks again for your help

Thank you.
It was the ground wire that is connected to the engine block. It was rusted and had been breaking apart and just finally completely rusted apart. Put a new better ground strap on it and fixed the problem.
