I need help figuring out why my passenger side window will not roll up. all the other windows work from driver side controlls, except for the passenger window....oh and the doors will unlock, but they wont lock. I need to figure this out before it rains!

I am a window tinter and run into malfunction windows often. Sometimes you can hold the switch in the up position and bang on the door panel a little. Does it make any noise at all? Motor spinning? Clicking?

Sounds like you ought to be covering that window with some plastic ASAP. Electrical problems are the worst. First thing I'd try is pull the switch and clean all the terminals with electric parts cleaner. If that doesn't work, try and kick and swear at it for a few minutes. If that doesn't work, give up and buy lots of trash bags.

Bad connection or a bad motor.

Have you ever installed new speakers in your doors? The pushrod may just be not aligned anymore

pull the door handle off on the inside i bet your connection is loose, my window in my 87 did this it would roll down, but wouldn't roll up and it would only roll down on the passenger side pulled the handle and the connection was only half on. I pushed down the little tangs that are on the top and botton of the door handle and put the connector back on and haven't had a problem since.
