hey i just got a 98 cherokee but the e brake dont work how can i fix it

then go underneath and there are two bolts. loosen the first one then tighten the second one then tighten the first one to lock it all back down. its really simple to figure out.

Look inside the drum and see if both have the parking brake bar inside

Thats also something. I had no brake shoes when mine didnt work so make sure you have shoes on your rear drums as well because no shoes means the parking brake has nothing to grab.
