I have a kenwood cd player that was in the jeep when i got it about a year ago and it started actin up about a week ago like cuttin out during a song and some buttons wouldnt work when you pushed them. Well today i turned the jeep off and when i turned it back on later that day the cd player wouldnt come on...is it just shot or is it possible something just came loose or something? again im not sure how old the stereo is or how long its been in the jeep...

check the ground wire. it's the long black wire coming out of the stereo harness. if that doesn't work, run another fused power line to the deck from the battery, if it works, it's the power. you will wanna run it to the yellow thick wire and red thick wire. let me know.
