Default Need advice

My sons first xj is in need of a new radiator. I'm looking to upgrade from the stock to one with more cooling power with-out hurting his budget to bad. Any recomodations on which one to get and a good supplier. It's a 96 Country, automatic. And should the hose's be replaced at the same time. Any and all help would be helpfull. The jeep is stock now but he is planning on building it slowly to what he wants as he can afford to do it.
Thanks, Mark

Hoses don't cost that much and I always replace the hoses when replacing the rad, better than being stuck on the road 3 months later from a pin hole in the hose. I believe it is recommended they be replaced every three years....i will have to check on that.

I would change the hoses also. Just remember a bigger rad. is better but you also want more surface area. You cab have a 4 core rad. and no surface area and it could do about the same as a 2 core with alot of surface area.

it might also be a good idea to put in a tranny cooler if it doesnt already have one since you'll have everything apart.

There has to be someone that could tell me of good radiator and a supplier. I was thinking of the radiator barn but I was hoping for some input on which one has been used by people on this site.
