Closed crankcase with positive crankcase VENTILATION was the most significant step to increase OCI. Computer control fuel delivery and combustion took it to the next level. Condensation and fuel dilution on new vehicles are a thing of the past.

Absolutely. No sticky automatic chokes to wash oil off the cylinder walls and fuel into the crankcase..
