offroad vechicles dont think need to be as tight to pan as race cars poss denting in oil pan is greater ya know....just saying

Sorry, I am a newb when it comes to working on internal stuff.

I want to replace my oil pan gasket and when I do I want to do everything else while I have it off like the RMS and this.

red line is the pick up tube going into oil pump ,green line is where its help on by a bracket and bolt no welding here cant fall off

Those things are made sloppy ive seen em where the pan wouldn't even sit flat and u have to bend the hell out of em. But no welding..

My to do list, see how I do ha ha

1 drain oil
2 drop pan
3 unbolt pump, and filter
4 shop vac the motor, sludge fun!
5 prime the new pump by shuving vasaline in it.
6 put new primed pump in
6.5 add pickup tube
7 swap rms
8 put in fel pro 1 peice gasket
9 add oil
10 pull dis and turn pump with drill
11 Check pressure and if good I'm done? (I hope)

I dont Vaseline my pumps, I dip em in oil for a few and put em on then prime

its factory renix no gonna be any issues just cleand and bolt back up
