my 92 limited cherokee wont start on cold morning

my 92 limited cherokee wont start on cold morning
And then when it finally starts it idles rough almost like its misfiring for like 30 secs to a min, but then runs mint its got 130k on it, but after the 1st start its fine after that only if it sits over nite. any suggestions??;

I agree with Chill in that the coolant temp sensor is suspect here. They can be tested (resistance values are in most manuals) and aren't particularly expensive.
If the sensor is failing and tells the computer that the temperature is higher than it is, it will make for some tough cold starts.
Also whenever symptomatic, it's a good time to review all tuneup hardware. Fresh Champion copper plugs, new plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter.
