as the title states, I need some opinions on these leaf springs I purchased...the person I got them from says "You'll have a little deflection where the axle sits, but I assure you they are good springs".





now, that looks straight up bent to me, not just "a little deflection". I have had a few people look at them and heard between "they are scrap" to "they look ok if you break a spring and need a replacement". I bought them because the springs I have now are bent also, granted they are alot worse, but replacing bent springs with bent springs seems a bit dumb to me. but the guy I got them from says "the springs are fine...I have issues replacing them knowing that". now to me it sounds like he knows they are bad and just doesn't want them back, if they are in fact fine why would he even care? anyway...lemme know what you guys think...thnx

I agree, I wouldn't go through all that work swapping in bent springs...

thnx guys, I just got off the phone with him, he still swears he gave me good springs, and doesn't care how many people say otherwise, and that if they are bent then I already switched them...but in the end he agreed to try and find new ones for me and exchange them...we'll see what happens. I aint out to screw anyone, I just wanna fix my jeep and not go through a ton of drama doin it.
