multifunction switch
Hey guys I have a 1999 xj and every time I turn on my left turn signal my hazards come on. I did search on here for what the problem is, and came to the conclusion that is probably the multi function switch. I went on quadratec looking for a replacement part, and they show me two options. They have Crown and Omix. The Crown switch costs $44.62 and the Omix costs $103.28. So I was just wondering if the Omix is a better quality part or should I just go with the cheaper Crown switch.
thanks guys for your responses. I just bought this Jeep and its in great condition I just have a few small odds and ends to fix up. I had a 1995 before this and regretfully sold it and bought a durango (that was a mistake) and it just wasn't the same lol. so now I'm back at home with my jeep and any help is appreciated.

What year is your xj? 97-01 there is 3 screws to remove on the underside of the steering column that holds the top and bottom of the cover together. Remove them, separate the halves. Then there are 3 T15 screws the hold the switch in. 1 from bottom and two on top. Unplug it, 2 connectors, then finesse it out.

I just found the Mopar part for the switch. thanks and here is the link for anyone who is interested. idk if it'll still be there when I bought it, it was telling me last one only 1 left, but I fell like some people do that so that it will make ya buy it right away lol
