In your best interest you should just buy a long block that way it will have a warranty and all you need to do is bolt some of your accessories on it. With a little cleaning and paint drop in looks like new.

A rebuilt long block runs from $1200 up to 2100 and more depending on parts used.

I found a 94 I'm looking at for $1000. Body is rusted out but the drive train and suspention is good. Has 4 in lift and sye w/ heavier axles. I'll swap it all over to mine. Then tear apart mine see what happened and rebuild it if possible. I'll let ya know what I find out.

Pulled the motor out today. Drained the oil and it was full of water not a good sign . Pulling and installing a motor tomorrow.
