so im swaping a newsed motor since mine has no compression the newesd motor has 85k miles on it.. what do you recomend i should replace?? i just ordered new motor mounts and a gasket set for everything what else should i get for the swap. it is a 4.0
oil pan gasket and rear main seal. I did mine when I swapped in a new motor. Was real easy to do with the motor flipped upside down on a engine stand. Debated on doing a head gasket but i didnt see any seepage from the head to warrant opening up the motor.

if ur guna have the pan off to do a rear main and the pan gasket, check ur thrust bearing. was doing a pan gasket on my '93 ZJ and we decided to check it just to make sure it was still good and it turned out we wore off 0.070" the front of the thrust bearing. needless to say, the engine got rebuilt

i know that Banks Power ($425.99) and Borla Exhaust ($557.99) both make headers for the 4.0 and you can get them through Quadratec. all depends on how much u want 2 pay
