More budget injector upgrade questions
less than a week,not even a 1/4 tank of fuel, oxy sensor is is less than 2000 km old.
going to re run it in a month/ after a couple of tanks of fuel

I've tested the 702 and 746, the first flow just like the 703 and the 746 flow like 710/700, each is 210cc/min.
More over, by the Bosch data books the flow and other spec are the exact same, which mean, not all the info on the net is accurate.
NOTE: the medium used by Bosch for testing is Heptane, which have differant specific gravity and it's a pure liquid, homogenous, not like petrol.
I think it's getting too complicated...

hey guys i know we have had many people talk about doing the injector swap but i went to my local pick-n-pull and found a lincon town car with the 4.6 just finished installing the injectors and the install is plug and play i'm waiting on an o-ring to the primary line so i can preasurize the system and check for leak and i will let yall know how it works out as soon as i'm done
just finished putting my last o-ring in and put some gas in her the injectors are working good just needing to run it regular to have the little stuff smooth out so my advice buy new or refubished

Now if what I've read is true, these are not a good type to have for an XJ? Because? too little flow? and if this is the case, would getting one of those higher FPR's help?

these are what i have and these are the ones you want , they have plenty of flow , the 24# blue ford ones are too much for a stock motor , they work best in a stroker motor ,

[Injectors must not exceed 80% duty cycle]
To get the same flow as the stock injectors you need the high pressure regulator.
This one have the clip nut which make it sit at the right height, away from the manifold heat. The Ford injectors does not have clip nut, they sit against the manifold.
It also have different cone pattern, a cone pattern that is more suitable for the 4.0L head/intake design.
It have different impedance, lower, which allow it to work better at high RPM.
Stop looking at the injector color or shape, they all look similar but vary internally. Would you chose a tire just because it's black and round?

These don't have enough flow for stock 4.0L, the stock injectors flow 248cc/min and these flow 210cc/min. They will work but on high duty cycle which mean short injectors life, bad performance at high RPM, and lean condition at WOT.

Ok, so I just ordered a high pressure fuel reg. I'll give it a shot. I do notice a little ping when running at a high RPM, (highway) for a long period of time.

theres diff part numbers on those intectors cause a few look the same , you need the 0280155710-F6VE Design III Upgrade , i have no problems in any rpm range , my jeep certainly does not run lean
