Default metal in the oil pan

i was tearing down my motor today to see what was making the knocking noise and found this in my oil pan i think it part of the piston skirt? what do yall think?

anyone know how much it cost would to mildly stroke it?

I know hesco sells stroker kits that push it to a 4.5L. I think they run around 1500ish for parts.

piston skirt..
Too bad you dont have a video of the noise it was making. I would of liked to hear it, mine has been knocking the whole time Ive owned it (only about a year now). Its either cam/lifters or a piston.

This is like when I dropped the oil pan on my bronco II w/ 2.9. I told my friend it was like opening a box of frosted flakes and finding a whistle inside instead of the wally wall walker. Then you noticed that mom bought some off brand cereal.

do like i did start taking it apart till you find whats causing it
