Default Melted wires and connectors

When I was checking for vac. leaks I moved the wrong wire and melted the connectors. It's the one coming off the trany. Both female and male are done. Can I use any two wire connectors or it has to be the oem?

a connector is a connector..... but if u want something waterproof or clips of something... check out www.waytekwire.com they got some nice stuff

Does it matter if it's the crank sensor wire ?

just cut the wires and splice together.. use some butt conectors and shrink wrap.....

Thanks guys I fixed it, but now I think I need a new sensor cuz my jeep shakes.
