The OEM ignition does a pretty good job and you've already paid for it.

If you have the extra cash go for it. It will help burn all that expensive fuel you pay for. Run cleaner and you'll notice it will run stronger.

There are a lot of parts on your jeep that work pretty good and you've already paid for them but that doesn't stop you guys from changing them anyway.

If you haven't done it yet, next time you get new plugs, get a GOOD dist. cap and rotor with brass terminals and new set of sparkplug wires and I guarantee you that will make you feel a BIG difference in power and see a BIG difference in fuel economy over what you have now. Use that cash you want to spend on an MSD unit, on an air intake or bigger muffler and catback exhaust. Better breathing of your motor gets you the most bang for your buck.

I'm looking to do a tune up soon and I've been looking around for GOOD dis, but all of them seem to be about the same price and all look the same. I haven't looked around a lot. Where is a good place for a tune up parts? Other than the dealer.

If you go to Autozone tell the parts counter dork that you want the Duraslast Gold Cap and Rotor "KIT" for a Jeep 4.0 of your year. If you don't specify the "KIT" they will try to sell you there POS cap and rotor with cruddy aluminum terminals. You will pay $36 for the cap and rotor kit but it will last longer and perform better so it's worth the extra $$$$. Go with Champion plugs because they are OEM for chrysler vehicles and they work very well. Also go with the Duralast sparkplug wire set. They are regular OEM 7 mm wires but they have a lifetime warranty. If one ever goes bad bring them back and AZ will replace them for free for the life of the vehicle. If your Jeep is one of the newer models that calls for those Bosch S hit plugs, tell the counter goon that you want the alternate Champion plugs for your year 4.0.
