Toyo Open Country A/T?
Just wantin to gather some input on the Toyo Open Country A/T, anyone ran em and what were they like? My Cooper SST (Awesome Tires) are getting pretty bald and a buddy just gave me a set of 265-70-16's with over half tread. Are they worth putting on or should I sell em and move on to something else?

I ran them for about 6 months and hated them. The terrain here is tough on tires but I expected better performance out of them and was very disappointed. I cut two sidewalls down over that time period, and yet another was punctured through the thread by a sharp arrowhead shaped rock. They were noisy on the road and weren't the best IMO on wet/snowy roads.

I had a set on my 03 wrangler. Just last night put a new set on my 01 xj. I loved them, one of he best tires I have ran. They performed great last winter. Quite on the road and handle good. But I am not off road much. Would like to be oh!!!! They probably would not be aggressive enough for extreme off road. But they are great on the road and in winter in Ky.

I ran a set of them on my yota a couple years back and loved them. My father in law runs a set of them on his TJ and loves them. They handled good on my yota and I have drove his TJ several times and it handles well with them. Both have/had 31x10.50's on them. The yota was a DD and did well in the mud as well. It is no bogger but not bad for an AT. For free, I would run em.

They got at least 50% tread left, if I was to go through a road check or get pulled by a VA state boy I would get a ticket bigger than crap with my current Cooper's. Even though there bald they still pull through the mud like little paddle boats. Thanks for the reviews
