this may be a dumb question but....
I am going to put a clamp on my front diff. to keep both axles locked, so my question is after I move the collar over do it put the hose clamp on the axle shaft? this is what my common sense tells me but I just want to make sure before I start.

Its to lock your front shaft so it doesn't have any problems with the vacuum line taking a dump on you. but wont be in 4 until transfer case is engaged (shifted to 4).

i've had one on mine for a few years now. was supposed to just be a quick fix, but has worked so good, i've just left it there.
now to just get my hp44 ready to go in.
