Question Massive Brake Fading Issue

So im on the way home & everytime I hit the brakes the jeep starts pulling towards passenger side. Now this has happened once or twice before but it would go away quickly, but not this time as it got worse & worse to the point where I was having to steer hard to drivers side & smoke started coming out from under the front driver side fender!! Made it home, parked it & quickly ran for a fire extinguisher as the smoke continued to come from that front drivers caliper for a good 5 minutes!!
When everything was over & safe I took the tire off & pulled the brakes apart for inspection & the caliper piston & sliding bolts were all good, & the source of the smoke seen in this pic at the top of the brake pad & the top of the knuckle:

Then I noticed that the caliper mounts were off seen here as the bottom caliper mount is inline with the knuckle & in the second pic, u can see a 1/4 gap from the sawzall blade I used to show this:

So since the caliper & pads are still ok & ive replaced the sliding bolt sleeves, should I heat it up & bend/hit it back the 1/4" space or go buy a new outter knuckle which I really don't wanna do???

Exclamation

Out of everyone that has viewed this thread, I'm surprised that no one noticed the divots in the knuckle from the inner brake pad in the second & 3rd pics!! Luckily I picked this up during more research as I thought they were ment to be there & of course there NOT!!

No problem.

Look on the bright side, you can upgrade to the WJ brakes.

I'm thinking about it as that would be the best choice, but funds for them may be an issue!

I'm gonna try welding those brake pad indents then grinding em down & see how the brakes work then.

I just recently welded mine up, they seem to be holding well.
