Bringing back an old thread instead of making a new one.

Anyone using 5.25" marine speakers in their XJ? I don't need to upgrade but I'm interested in the idea.

Yes. Polks are the best for sound and durability. I've had my door speakers completely submerged in water and they still work fine. All of Polk audio's speakers are marine certified. Doesn't necessarily mean that you can put them under water like I did, but like I said they still work fine.

I have the polk db series in my jeep, the dxi series is nice too, I installed tons of them when I was an installer and they sound awesome
