As the title states, it won't engage with the system on ac or defrost. Already jumped the coil to the battery to verify it's working and it does Indeed pull in the clutch. Bypassed the low pressure switch for the ac system and it didn't make a difference.
Checked voltage for clutch coil on stock wiring at 14.4 with ac on, and zero volts with system off. Not sure why jumping it directly from the battery would make any difference, it's the same voltage unless there is a resistive relay somewhere or something.
Thoughts?

I would but it's the only one of its type under the hood. I assumed it was working since when the system is off I've got no voltage and when the system is supposed to be on I've got voltage.

I mean I even cut the wire halfway to the clutch and that's where I'm reading voltage, so everything else would have to be working? I would assume if it was low pressure switch it wouldn't allow the other relay to pull in and give me my power anyways. Same spot I'm also introducing the battery voltage from.

Jumper the pins in the relay socket to mimic a closed relay, see if the clutch operates.
If it does, the relay contacts are burned or pitted.
I believe they are pins 1 and 2, but double check first. One should have +12 V with the key off, the other should show continuity to the clutch connector. Those are the two to jumper.
