Thats a bit much.
I installed a MAP adjuster and later found that the O2 sensor has the final say when adjusting the fuel/air ratio. So any adjustments to the MAP were being overrided by ECU based on the O2 signal.
Later an EFIE was installed to add voltage to the ECM from O2 output. That is by adding voltage the ECM is tricked into believing the AFR is too rich. So it backs off the fuel. http://www.fuelsaver-mpg.com/store/i...ex&cPath=78_73
I also added a second O2 sensor and an AFR gauge to monitor the adjustments. So far the MPG's are about the same and the butt-o-meter says there is a bit more power. ebay item 110312817807

Actually, from what I've read, the O2 sensor monitors the A/F ratio under high vacuum conditions(regular driving), but under low vacuum condition(WOT) the MAP sensor sends signals to the ECU regarding A/F ratio and how long to keep the injectors open. Otherwise the MAP sensor wouldn't need to be there if it solely relied on the O2 sensor. Here's an article to read up on about building your own http://www.jeep-xj.info/HowtoMAPsensor.htm .
