was looking through brians old thread because I liked his budget engine upgrades

Save your money. The stock 4.0 doesn't need anything more than the OEM coil and the MSD coil often fails prematurely. A number of threads from guys who have gone with the MSD, then switched back when their MSD coil gave it up soon after installation.

ok compare this to the video on the other page.
this was without turning the key for a few seconds before cranking
just want to know what I can do to make it start up nice and healthy sounding

i hear the, id call it a "ca chunk", before it smoothes out, thats what ur talking about right? maybe the starter sticking a bit?
