With a temp sensor you deffinatly want a new one you know that works for sure. Better than buying an engine!

Electronics cleaner is more sensitive to your sensors, wd40 and other products can leave an oily film that will cause dirt build up and more issues down the road. Dielectric grease will protect and waterproof your connections as well as prevent corrosion. The more dielectric grease the better! Never a thing as too much.

Your local parts counterperson can direct you too some good electronics cleaner, doesn't have cost any different than a can of pb. Normally only a few bucks, dielectroc grease will run you about 9dollers at your local oriellys.

Don't forget to check your wires for any ugly looking spots.

Also got check the wires at the computer connections, seen alot of jeeps with bad wires there

well i didnt see any wire that were bad but what i noticed was the even disconected it would show the it started and 240 im not sure if the guage is stuck or something i was wondering if there's a way to reset it down 100 because i think the computer is sending the guage how much to go up and down its just doing it from 240 like if it was parked wrong

Could just be from the computer not getting any signal at all from the sensor. My old Saturn did that
